About You

You have the ability to priorities and organize own work in order to make the most efficient use of time available. You have the ability to work in a fast retail environment. You are driven to exceed goals and possess a desire to improve ways of working. You have interest for Electronics.

 

Successful candidate should have the following:

  • Matrix or High School Education 
  • A valid UAE Forklift Driving License
  • 2-4 years’ Material Handling Equipment operational experience (MHE) and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods.
  • Good Knowledge and skills of safe and efficient forklifts' driving working methods.
  • This is very physical job and requires that you can lift heavy loads on a daily and weekly basis so a strong physique is required.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise personal work tasks in order to make the most efficient use of time available.
  • Basic written and verbal English communication skills
  • Basic Numerical skills is essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others 
  • Thoroughness & Attention to Detail
     

 

About the Position

You are primarly responsible to support the operational teams in handling goods and operating MHE. Offload/Bin and load goods in a safe and orderly manner without causing damages to the goods, vehicles and warehouse operatives. Ensure that MHE are always operational and safe to operate. 

 

Key specific accountabilities:

  • Efficient binning, picking, sorting & counting of products against set customer targets.
  • Quality standards in binning and picking (accuracy, adherence to agreed processes)
  • Load/Offload materials in a safe and orderly manner without causing damages as per the SLA
  • Warehouse housekeeping & general cleanliness
  • Adherence to legal authorities’ policies and procedures related to HSE like; heat stress, emergency evacuation, incident reporting
