  • ​This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
  • ​Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to credit card fraud with a key role in supporting American Airlines’ current and future fraud prevention initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Mentor and coach a group of junior analysts and auditors
  • Support Interline operations through data gathering and analysis, identifying and applying trends, and root cause analysis
  • Deliver efficient and accurate reporting of data associated with passenger ticket interline billing and maintain operational statistics and forecasts
  • Develop presentations that summarize and communicate analysis results
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for interline billing issues
  • Make recommendations to management on long-term strategic plans for interline billing
  • Perform daily monitoring and regular analysis of Interline Payable job processes
  • Work with leadership and end-users to address data and process concerns
  • Lead 3rd party vendor relationships
  • Handle data queries from internal customers
  • Communicate with industry partners to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain and understand Interline Revenue Accounting Tables to ensure accurate data processing
  • Be the expert in Sample Interline Billing

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years related work experience in an analytical role
  • Experience in finance or accounting-related discipline

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • General knowledge of ticketing and airline revenue accounting processes
  • Data mining and analytics experience
  • Vendor management experience

  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
