What you'll do

  • Coordinates all phases of the M&A transaction process, which includes identifying potential targets, performing strategic analysis and financial valuations, leading due diligence efforts, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to finalize deal terms
  • Evaluates financial forecasts to determine potential risks, test assumptions, and understand potential performance under various upside and downside scenarios
  • Develops valuation models and applies various financial valuation techniques to determine intrinsic value of potential acquisition targets and works with Network Planning, Alliances or other business units to size synergies and opportunities
  • Creates executive and board level presentation materials to review potential investment opportunities, including assessing strategic or operational benefits, summarizing financial valuations, and discussing negotiation strategy and potential deal structures
  • Coordinates transaction execution end-to-end, including identifying deliverables and timelines, and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of company, industry, competitors, and broader market dynamics that may define the current landscape and influence future business decisions 

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years' experience in Finance or related area

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master of Business Administration or similar Master’s degree
  • Investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting experience a plus

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing board and executive level strategic, operational and financial presentations
  • Driven, results oriented mindset with a history of perseverance and passion for achieving goals
  • Strong work ethic with experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment in a structured and organized manner
  • Business development mindset in managing relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Curiosity and the willingness to dive deep to quickly comprehend new topics and become a subject matter expert within emerging market trends
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, with financial modeling and analysis experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote
  • Preferred knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal and S&P Capital IQ
