This role is responsible to manage spare parts warehouse operation to ensure stock are maintained as per 7 storage principles and stock inventory management. The role will report to the Parts Supervisor.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure receives right part and is binned to right location.
  • Ensure parts are ordered based on retail counter and workshop requirements from Parts Distribution Hub / Interbranch /Local purchase through purchase order.
  • Ensure right parts is picked, packed and perform goods movements upon supply to retail counter, workshop, re-call / Inter Branch deliveries. 
  • Ensure 100% inventory control and discrepancy is recorded in Dealer Management System as per inventory process.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Standard Operating Procedures 

 

Job Context

The Partsman contributes to parts department operation for ordering, receiving, binning, packing and supply of all parts as per delivery orders (workshop / retail counter / re-call / Inter Branch Transfer) and need to support Parts Sales representative to deliver exceptional customer experience. 

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: 

  • High school
  • Parts background

Minimum Experience:  

  • 1 to 2 years overall experience with Parts warehouse operation, preferably in a similar parts operation role. 

Job-Specific Skills: 

  • Good communication skills. 
  • Conversant English
  • Material handling 
  • Electronic Parts Catalogue(EPC) and Dealer Management System (DMS) preferred 
  • Behavioural Competencies: 
  • Honest and responsible, 
  • Good Team work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
