                                      Copywriting Manager

 

Job Purpose:

Curious, imaginative, with a passion for words, the Content Copywriter will be responsible for developing copy for all our marketing channels and touchpoints including website, social media, blog, landing pages, CRM and other marketing collaterals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Audit & review-

 

  • Periodically review, edit and rewrite all existing written material across our Marketing/CRM touchpoints

 

 

AFA Comms standards development-

 

  • Write and edit clean, clear and inspirational copy for our various marketing channels and touchpoints (website, CRM, social media, blog articles, other marketing collaterals, etc.)
  • on-page copy for new website pages, blog articles based on requirements
  • develop copy templates to support CRM contact strategy and initiatives

 

 

Subject Matter Expert-

 

  • Act as a SME for SEO strategy & creative solutions for the division
  • Leverage SEO strategies to maximize online visibility of our content in search results

 

 

Social Media Management-

 

  • Social media copy to promote content across our Al-Futtaim Automotive social media presence (FB, IG & Twitter)

 

 

Quality Management-

  • Ensure all copywriting content for AFA websites are up to date in English and Arabic languages

 

 

Campaign Alignment-

  • Work with multiple teams within the marketing COE to ensure all content is aligned and developed as per AFA brief/standards

 

 

Qualifications Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or similar discipline.

Knowledge of online content strategy and creation with proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio

 

Minimum Experience:

4+ years of experience as a copy writer or related role (Automotive experience preferred but not essential).

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent writing, editing & proofreading skills (in both English & Arabic)
  • Creative mindset with strong communication skills (written and verbal), curious and imaginative
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate as well as to collaborate
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and overall digital marketing best practices
