- This job is a member of the B2B Product Development Team within the Global Sales and Distribution Organization, part of the Customer Division.
- Responsible for supporting the product management of B2B products at American Airlines. This includes various customer types: SMB (such as managing AirPass and Business Extra), large corporate (such as setting the strategy for corporate experience benefits), and B2B2C (how we utilize AAdvantage assets to win and retain more corporate business)
What you'll do
- Supports the initiatives and executes the tactics supporting B2B products.
- Works extensively with IT teams to define and execute development of B2B products. Tasks include user story development, performance tracking, and iteration planning
- Works with Global Sales teams to identify gaps in product delivery and new enhancements. Deliver training when necessary for major enhancements or releases
- Deliver financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis of customer segments to evaluate performance
All you'll need for success
- Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
- B2B product or project management experience
- 2 years airline experience
- 2 years product management and development experience,
data analysis, or Agile methodology experience
- Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Project management experience using American Airlines IT resources for product management
- Experience working in or with key departments at American Airlines: Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Loyalty
- Familiar with Global Sales data
- Experience managing products with IT teams
- Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Ability to manipulate and report on large data sets
- Skills in Excel, Tableau, Word, Outlook
- Knowledge of project management key competancies
