  • This job is part of the Sales Customer Engagement and Communication Team within the Customer Division.
  • Responsible for assisting with customer and team member engagement for Global Sales.
     

What you'll do

  • Manages the coordination and Strategy of the Executive Sponsor Program
  • Liaises with executives at American Airlines who are paired with executives at our key corporate accounts and reports on progress
  • Assists with projects that focus on customer and team member engagement and communications, such as; Global Sales Employee Reward & Recognition programs, Global Sales Jetnet site, Internal Customer Organization Newsletter, Bi-weekly Global Sales Internal Talking Points document, and additional ad hoc projects
  • Assists with the execution of Global Sales customer and team member meetings, which includes customer invitation list management and air travel and hotel arrangements

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years relevant work experience in departments, such as Global Sales

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience interacting with high-level customers and internal executives

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Strong business acumen
  • Problem solving skills and presentation skills 
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple way
  • Ability to be a strategic thinker
  • Ability to create structure and drive progress in an ambiguous environment
  • Skills in Microsoft Office
