- This job is a member of the Digital Analytics Implementation Team within the Digital Platform Product for a key role in building out the American Airlines Digital Customer Experience marketing and analytics technology architecture, including managing the implementation and maintenance of the digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Tealium and Qualtrics)

- Manage the implementation and maintenance of analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tag Management System - Tealium, Adobe Launch)
- Collaborates with internal departments to oversee design, development, implementation, test and validation of changes to the Voice of Customer system (Qualtrics)
- Keeps current on new features for our digital tools as well as keeping current on the ever-changing digital marketing technology to ensure that we are fully-utilizing our current tools as well as have the right tools in our stack
- Maintains detailed documentation of analytics tools and measurement strategies
- Implements, audits and improves marketing pixels, tool implementations and processes
- Collaborate with Digital Customer Experience Product Owners, IT partners and other key stakeholders to define and implement necessary requirements in order to properly report on relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
What you'll do
- Collaborates with our technology teams to add, update and verify implementation of analytics tracking on aa.com, mobile app, and kiosk
- Conducts quality assurance checks and data validation; identifies data collection issues and gaps; and recommends/implements fixes. Work with data engineers to help build the analytics layer of our team's data environment
- Performs duties of Adobe Analytics administrator, including SAINT classifications, managing shared dashboards, and designing custom segments to identify trends in visitor profiles
- Help to lead measurement and data collection efforts across our digital products, which may include working with external partners to resolve questions, inconsistencies, and/or obtain missing data Evangelizes the value of analytics tracking and provides education on how and why, where applicable
- Teaches, trains, and guides other analysts with respect to writing analytics requirements Fosters best practices and reviews quality of output
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics,
- Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or relevant field or equivalent training/experience
- 3 years of experience with web analytics applications (Adobe Analytics, Core Metrics, Tealeaf, Google Analytics, etc.)
- 2 years' experience with tag management systems (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe DTM, etc.)
- 2 years' experience with iOS or Android Software Development Kits (SDKs)
- 2 years' experience defining analytics strategy, developing analytics requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering,
- Mathematics, Economics or relevant field
- Web and travel/airline experience
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, and data science programming language
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and Public Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
- Experience with usability, conversion analysis, and multivariate testing
- Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, jQuerym and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)

- Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed
- Database query experience (SQL, SAS, Oracle, Datameer)
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision/direction
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
