This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Treasury team at American Airlines.  This position will be a key driver in the team’s long-term success with ample room for future growth. The role is a part of the Corporate Treasury team within our Finance group.

What you'll do

• Assist in the implementation of a new Treasury Workstation, including testing functionality, evaluating process enhancements, and maintaining documentation
• Assist in risk management and hedging related activities including day to day operations, strategy, settlement and reporting
• Manage day to day operations and process improvements for the Company’s letter of credit, guaranty, and surety bond program (“trade finance”), as well as working capital financing
• Support bank account optimization effort (account structure, payment process, cash positioning and cash forecasting) with a focus on increasing automation, capturing institutional knowledge and maintaining strong risk management and controls
• Other ad hoc analyses as assigned

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• 3 years of work experience
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master of Business Adminstration
• 3-5 years experience across treasury, finance, accounting, and/or banking industries

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
• Experience with Bloomberg preferred
• Familiarity with Treasury Workstations, such as FIS/Quantum or GTreasury
