About the Role

We are currently looking fr Program manager to manage the coordinated delivery of assigned programs and project(s) to benefit each other and align with overall business goals. The program manager role is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the delivery of the program’s outputs.

 

About the Responsibilities

For Project Management, you will be responsible for daily management of one or more programs of work of medium to high complexity while ensuring compliance to the agile project management methodology, processes & tools ensuring business value delivery. Define and implement program governance, coordinate projects and manage interdependencies and resources utilization. You will also be responsible for planning the overall program and monitoring progress, tracking key program milestones and adjust plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers ensuring successful delivery from inception to service transition. Manage vendor / implementation parters to successfully deliver the project and program risks & issues and follow-up on closure actions. You will drive the project closure activities effectively including financials. Adopt the Agile Project Management practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach the team in agile principles and Scrum process. You will managing stakeholders’ communication, align program/project deliverables (outputs) to the program’s outcome, managing the main program documentation.

 

 

For Leadership & Resource Management, you will mobilize and manage program resources (manpower, equipment & material) and lead the team towards successful delivery of the program. Plan, engage, allocate and assign work assignments to resources in conjunction with the Chapter Leads/Head of department, manage relationships with key implementation vendors on projects; optimize engagement and drive execution through governance and the team. Effective utilization of project team comprised of EIT FTs & contractual staff, mitigate team conflict and communication problems; motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner. Facilitate/Support the change management aspects by demonstrating high level of maturity, leadership skills & sense of business expectations

 

For Demand Management & Stake-holders Engagement, you will work with business & technology stakeholders to govern the project roadmap for the business area in line with business strategy considering required resources and EIT technology strategy and standards, manage demand pipeline for new initiates, including the preparation of business case along with TCO. You will ensure demand artefacts are created in line with governance standards, provide support to the Tribe / LOB leads in demand lifecycle, liase with business / EIT stake-holders in the demand cycle for a satisfactory closure of the the demand until it’s conversion into a project / program for delivery, periodic review of the demand pipeline and update the status of demand

 

For Governance & Communication, you will oversee overall program governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed. Duties shall focus on program monitoring, control, team integration, change integration, and corrective action as needed. You will be the focal point for the program communications to sponsors, stakeholders and Program steering committee. You will ensure timely & relevant communication with all functional areas that impact scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed and compliance with EIT standard PM methodology, IT Policies, Security Standards, adhere to regular weekly status reports communication, facilitate the scrum process and ceremonies and provide required coaching & guidance to the team members

 

About the Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field;  Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum, Agile framework exposure & relevant Agile project delivery experience is required

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  15+ years IT Experience, including 10+ years demonstrated experience in successful delivery of medium to large scale projects; experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions. Must have Agile certification & experience in successful delivery of Agile projects. Candidate should have a good hands-on experience on project delivery using Waterfall, Agil & Hybrid model as necessary.

 

Job-Specific Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization, Expertise in Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel. Exposure to Projects Online will be an added advantage.
