About The Role:

To manage and monitor the Logistical operations for the Lease Department in Dubai through implementation of set business practices along with continuous innovative solutions to ensure efficient utilisation of rental fleet and management of human resources, focusing on exceeding customer satisfaction, growth and profitability with overall objective to exemplify the Hertz vision and brand image.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Operations Supervision

  • Ensure the KPIs set for the department are understood by all associates.
  • Work with the team to achieve set KPIs with the time frame provided.
  • Ensure action plans are put in place to resolve any short fall between set KPIs and those achieved

 

Mentoring and Coaching

  • Acting as a mentor to the CSRs and Coordinators to help them understand the importance of delivering a great customer service experience.
  • Ensure they understand what is expected from them at work to meet the overall department targets.
  • Work with the team to empower them to come up with innovative solutions to existing business challenges.

 

Customer complaints and resolution

  • Ensure all policies and procedures relating to Customer Query Handling, Complaints resolution are strictly adhered to, to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
  • Where required Customer challenges are  escalated to the manager as per process agreed.
  • Corrective actions to be taken to avoid similar complaints /feedbacks either by associate feedback or change of procedure
  • Ensuring that complaints/queries from Direct Reports are dealt in line with HR policies, and situations requiring HRBP intervention are highlighted and followed up in a timely manner.

 

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to reduce the overall downtime of vehicles going through the maintenance cycle and there by ensure the overall Fleet Utilization Target set for the team are met.

 

Reporting

  • Replacement Ageing Report (daily)
  • Lease Replacement Report (daily)
  • Driver’s Productivity report (daily)
  • Lease Operation Report (daily)
  • Overtime report (monthly)
  • Traffic fine report (monthly)

 

About You:

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Professional communication and presentational (written and verbal) skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence

Excellent customer interaction skills

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

Over 2 years’ experience in managing people in a logistical role

Over 5 years’ experience working in the automotive industry

 

Job-Specific/Technical Skills

•            Excellent team building skills

•            Demonstration of leadership qualities

•            Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

•            Ability to plan and organize effectively
