What you'll do

The Director, Financial Reporting provides leadership, vision, and direction for the financial reporting and the corporate accounting processes of the company, including SEC reporting and the company-wide monthly financial close and consolidation process, cash and investments accounting, benefits accounting, and stock plan administration

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• 7 years of leadership experience in accounting and finance fields

• Combination of 7 years of experience with financial reporting, financial processes and systems, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and complex accounting matters

•  Experience in large public accounting firm and/or large publicly traded company required

• Experience in application of GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements, including financial statements and financial statement footnotes

•  Experience with financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion), business performance management systems, and business intelligence software

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements with respect to financial reporting processes

• Action oriented, results-driven leader with a natural aptitude for engaging employees

• Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships with, and consensus amongst, multiple stakeholders with varying points of view

• Ability to explain financial and accounting concepts to non-financial audiences

• Exceptional leadership, decision-making skills, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking ability

• Extensive experience managing and implementing large, complex projects

• Excellent communication skills (presentation, interpersonal, and written), with ability to handle complex topics comfortably and to interact effectively with all levels, both internally and externally

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

•  CPA certification required
