About the Role
The Assistant HSSE Manager is responsible to create and implement the HSE Retail Policies across UAE in line with Al Futtaim Group HSE Policies. You ensure the compliance of all the
facilities occupied by the Retail Group with latest CD Regulations and maintain a smooth security operation across Retail Stores in UAE.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Management
- Manage relationships with internal Al Futtaim Brand Stakeholders/Third Party Security Service Providers
- Manage Integrated Security AMC Service Agreement across UAE Store
Portfolio
- Manage Annual Performance Discussions with Security Service Provider
- Monthly Security Management
Reports
- Monthly AMC Progress Report
- Annual Satisfactory Survey in December of each year across
- Manage Store CD compliance with latest Law & Regulations in Alignment with Corporate Group HSSE
- Manage Security MP Selection Process / Technical Evaluation & Cost
Negotiations in alignment with Group HSSE
- Assist Group HSSE Team with Evidence on store investigations and audit cases
Projects
- Ensure Security System AMC Implementation in alignment with RSD allocated Budget
- Ensure Security Contract are implemented in alignment with Group Central Administration Department
- Ensure Store CDC renewals in coordination with Retail Leasing Department & Group Central Administration Department
- Annual Update of the Existing HSE Policies in alignment with related Government Authority requirements & Regulations
Store Environment
- Ensure that all customer facing aspects of the store environment are checked against Brand Values and Al Futtaim Store Standards
- Ensure that store environmental requirements are signed off by the Store Manager and communicated to AF Facilities Management in order to price and execute the required scope of works
- Maintain a Monthly Tracker on the status of completion on required Store Environmental Scope of works
Training
- Assist in Induction & training any newly recruited security and safety Staff, Security supervisor in alignment with AF Policies & RSD Procedures and SOP
- Ensure that all Store Representatives are participating in any online Police Based Training where required
- Ensure that Bands FF & FA are updated and trained on the latest regulations and practices Set by Local Authorities
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Security industry Certificate DUBAI MOI License / NEBOSH, IOSH Certificate / Industrial Health & Safety Certification
- 5-8 years of Industry related experience in a similar role in Retail HSE Management/ Retail Health & Safety Management
- Constant communication with various stakeholders as well as vendor/contractor
- Planning and organising skills will be second to none as well as your ability to use your initiative with regards to maintaining & upgrade of systems and records based on changing Authority Codes on HSE
