About the Role…

 

Managing all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter as well as organizing global assets shared on Falcon, LexusConnect, CMH…etc.

Collecting all available insights / data from social media reporting tools (Sprinklr) and tracking against defined KPIs in order to report monthly performance dashboards / action plan required.

Challenging social media business partner agency to maximize social presence and exposure for better business opportunities (driving social media traffic to website, generating leads coming from social channels, engagements…etc.) and working on monthly content calendars.

Supporting monthly campaigns by communicating on all social media channels and aligning with all offline activities to ensure maximum brand awareness, campaign exposure and lead generation

Benchmarking social media luxury competitors and luxury trends even outside the automotive industry.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Managing all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter as well as organizing global assets shared on Falcon, LexusConnect, CMH…etc.
    • Work closely with social media partners to develop monthly content calendars
    • Approve / Reject content based on business objective and active running monthly campaigns
    • Schedule content that needs to be shared on local channels to support sharing global assets shared on LexusConnect & Falcon.io
    • Make sure all activities on social media are tracked to measure ROI and traffic generated to website
    • Manage/Oversee enquiries, complaints and feedback on all social media channels and making sure they are being dealt with the support of the social media agency
  2. Collecting all available insights / data from social media reporting tools (Sprinklr) and tracking against defined KPIs in order to report monthly performance dashboards / action plan required
    • Create & customize profiles on Sprinklr to generate monthly reports related to all activities on social media
    • Work closely with partners to come up with a dashboard that needs to be shared internally with team management
    • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  3. Challenging social media business partner agency to maximize social presence and exposure for better business opportunities (driving social media traffic to website, generating leads coming from social channels, engagements…etc.)
    • Work with social media partners to build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
    • Maintain and improve the engagement rates across all social media channels
  4. Supporting monthly campaigns by communicating on all social media channels and aligning with all offline activities to ensure maximum brand awareness, campaign exposure and lead generation
  5. Benchmarking social media luxury competitors and luxury trends even outside the automotive industry
  6. Monitor paid campaigns and manage budget allocations to increase generating traffic and improve overall cost.

 

About You…

 

JOB CONTEXT:

If you are digitally savvy, live and breathe social media marketing, we want to talk to you. The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a holistic strategy in the social space to include building the Al-Futtaim Motors Lexus brand, engaging consumers in new relevant ways, determining relevant approach, identifying new emerging technologies appropriate for our consumers and developing external partnerships.

The ideal candidate will bring forward best in class social media practices and apply them to the AFM Lexus brand in order to build brand loyalty, showcase our product lineup and educate consumers. Needs to be an advocate for the consumer experience of our social media tools. Additionally, will provide solutions for the company such that we are improving our communication, working efficiently and effectively to inform about our products, and ultimately driving volume growth. The Social Media Manager will work cohesively and collaboratively across the marketing, sales and aftersales functions.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • BS/BA degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 4 years in marketing.
  • Preferably experienced in the automotive business
  • Candidate must be bilingual (English and Arabic)
  • Preferably millennial able to feel, sense breath and understand social media trends
  • Preferably UAE National due to the importance of LX 570 in Lexus Business and the weight of UAE national as Lexus customer
  • Experienced with dealing with agencies
  • Ability to think creatively and critically as an individual while working effectively with a team
  • Comfort working in a fast-faced, constantly-changing environment
  • A real can-do attitude with perfect execution skills
