Heavy Bus Driver- Team Lead (Dubai/Abu Dhabi/ Northern Emirates )
About The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Bus Driver to join our Hertz team in UAE. The main purpose of this role is to improve overall customer satisfaction by ensuring that the managed transportation requirements are dealt with in a pleasant and professional manner by adhering to agreed Hertz standards concerning vehicle usage, scheduled timings and team coordination. Provide driver relief during permanent driver absence.
Quality compliance – FLOWER (Fuel, Lubricants, Oil, Water, and Electricals & Rubbers) Check List is performed
- Ensures that the associate will perform FLOWER check on assigned vehicles before they start the service.
- Reports to Manager or Supervisor if there is any assistance required.
- Provides timely updates on shortage of vehicles or drivers.
Scheduled Timings
- Ensures that Customer transfer services had been completed as per scheduled timings.
- Follows up with drivers so timing gaps between various pick up and drop off points are followed as per schedule.
- Highlights timely service of the vehicle and maintenance jobs as required, reporting to Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintains daily accurate records of the additional tasks required.
Customer Complaints and Resolution
- Ensure all Hertz Standard policies and procedures are strictly adhered to ensure Customer satisfaction.
- When required, any Customer Complaints or Comments are escalated to the Supervisor/ Manager as per process agreed.
Grooming and Al-Futtaim way behavior
- Shows up to work with assigned uniform as per agreed Dress Code policy and is properly groomed.
- Ensures strict compliance to the set AF Way behaviors
Ad-Hoc requirements
- The associate confirms that he will perform any additional jobs assigned by Supervisor or Coordinator, such as ad-hoc transportation requirements or work with other Hertz Departments within UAE Ministry of Labour Regulations.
About You
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
- High School / Secondary Education
- Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License (category 5, 6)
- Minimum 2 years UAE driving experience
- Good knowledge in UAE roads and locations
- Clean traffic record
Job-Specific Skills:
- Good command of English and Hindi/ Urdu, ability to prepare a report, knowledge of vehicle operations.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Good communication skills, Effective listening and Customer focus, Flexible
