Job Purpose
We are currently looking for UAE National Senior Analyst who will be responsible for the execution of manual and automation tests and tools that are required for change activity across the group. They are also required to support different types of projects methodologies waterfall, agile and execute the change management processes across the group. They may be required to mentor and lead test and change analysts in their activities as directed by the Service Transition Manager.
Change & Release Management
- Ensure all activities designed to implement the change are as per the standards and adherence to the defined policies and procedures.
- Attend CAB meetings to oversee the review of changes.
- Ensure Change is accomplished in an orderly fashion to achieve the expected result without service disruption and within agreed-to time frames
- Assist change scheduling against multiple internal business calendars to align with business requirements and to ensure no conflicting configuration items are deploying at the same time
- Ensure timely risk analysis is conducted for all new and changed services.
- Assist the adoption of the change management process within the organization and required tool training.
- Work closely with project managers and internal IT teams to define the requirements for change to be successfully delivered into the live environment.
- Assist to publish and maintain a forward schedule of change and downtime calendar for the entire organization taking into account all geographies of operation.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) of implemented change.
- Drive adoption of standard solutions across companies and geographies.
- Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Security Standards and strengthen internal controls. Identify and manage key risks in your solution domain.
Testing
- Responsible for driving and documenting the test strategy related to major changes
- Responsible for the creation and development of manual and automation test cases.
- Ensure communication with all key stakeholders in business and IT and promote organization-wide adoption.
- Lead and participate in the creation of a regression testing plan for the organization and drive for automation in within this domain.
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate and assist in the operation, maintenance, versioning, and upgrading of testing solutions/applications throughout their lifecycle.
- Build a repository of solution deliverables, process documentation, key developments, and methodologies.
Other Key Responsibilities
- The role may be required to undertake change management support as required by the Service Transition Manager.
- To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics as one IT team.
- Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
- Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills, and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.
Education: College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Minimum Experience and Knowledge
- Must be a UAE National (with familiy book)
- 5 – 6 year experience in change and testing strategies that support major systems like ERP, E-commerce, and cloud-based solutions
- Good knowledge of different types of project management methodologies
- 2 – 4 year experience automation Testing tools such as (Selenium, Appuim, cucumber, BrowserStack, Jmeter)
- Worked with different defect management tools such as (HPALM, DevOps & Jira)
- Experience in the SAP Release tool (Active control) is a definite advantage.
- Relevant professional qualifications (eg ISTQB Certified Advanced or Expert Tester) are desirable.
Job-Specific Skills
- Technology domain expertise in Change & Release Management, Testing Solutions, Agile & Azure platform
- An understanding of IT Service Management involving ITIIL and ISO 2000 is desired.
- Analysis and troubleshooting skills used to support testers.
- Team coordination
- Must be flexible to work additional hours and be available for OOH support as per published schedule.
