What you'll do

Deliver solutions within the Data Services Product Group, initially focusing on the Data Movement Product leveraging Managed File Transfer products.

Support and Maintain Enterprise Managed File Transfer Services:

Review new customer requests for file transfer needs

• Migrate file transfer jobs between platforms.
• Administration, installation and configuration of Progress MOVEit
• Create documentation and release notes.

Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments

Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements 

Stay current with the latest trends in Managed File Transfer products, both Off-Prem in the cloud and On-Prem.  Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs. 

Support the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines for Message Oriented Middleware products.

Support communication and response by responding to users on system issues, maintenance, and advising and escalating on any prolonged or major issues.

Participate in design and code reviews.

Work with application development teams in an agile software development environment. 

Mandatory rotational schedule for on-call off-hours support

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 3+ years of experience with MOVEit Automation and Transfer products
• 3+ years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer or administrator 
• 3+ years of experience working in a challenging environment with the technical architecture of a large enterprise
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly is essential
• A team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources. Excellent oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
• Demonstrated  initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

5+ years of experience as a systems or infrastructure engineer or administrator
2+ years of experience with any Private or Public Clouds
Ability to look at application code and troubleshoot application connectivity issues.  
Work with system architects to improve existing configurations.
Develop documented best-practices design based on a mix of products and environment constraints
Strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills.
Experience working with an application development team in an agile software development environment
Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and other front-end languages.  
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React 
Working experience with server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby 
Working knowledge of API development. Typescript, Node JS, REST API, JSON 
Working experience using Git in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment. 
Working knowledge of Enterprise Message Oriented Middleware products.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus architectures
