About the Role

As part of Used Cars transformation project, the primary objective is to move from siloed decisions to a centralized, robust digitized decision-making process. The role is key to support the centralization of Used Cars business and will closely interact with Used Cars business team to gather customer data. 

 

Build and maintain own used cars dynamic valuation data base for all makes, models, grades, age, mileage. Ensure the data are up to date and accurate in order to source and sell used cars according to market trends and company profit expectation. Provide used cars pricing data; coach pricing appraisal team to provide information to the brands within SLA. Work closely with CPOV and new car department of each brand. 

 

Key Responsibilities.

• Develop and maintain Used Cars dynamic pricing valuation tool for all makes, models, age, mileage. The tool will enable pricing review and will be used by pricing appraisal team. 
• Develop interfaces with external Used Cars pricing data to feed valuation tool and algorithms/curves based on the data to upgrade Used Cars valuation tool accuracy. 
• Manage and animate Used Cars pricing appraisal team. Train and coach the team to provide high level quality service to the brands.
• Cooperate with in-house IT department and external vendors to improve Used cars valuation tool data base and frond end tool.
• Determine policy for used car stock depreciation in line with Finance department. 
• Distribute pricing information within a timely manner
• Ensure that pricing trends are shared in a timely manner within Al Futtaim automotive

 

 

About You.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree or MBA
Minimum Experience: 2-3 Years Experience in similar analytical field
 

Job-Specific Skills:   

• Analytical, process oriented, good communication skills, exposure to ERP 
• Behavioral Competencies: 
• Strong analytical & data interpretation skills, team player, proactive & attention to detail 
• Multitasking, prioritizing and organized approach
• Meeting short deadlines, submission of report and calculations to the department & management on regular frequency & on time
