ROLE PURPOSE:
Responsible for planning and designing new stores. The role also involves regular review of sales to determine the efficacy of stores designed. The JH will also need to track the latest trends in kitchen furniture and have constant interaction with Principals to exchange information on performance and trends. During the process of store buildup, the JH will work closely with brand principal to plan and design the new stores. Work closely with sales to track the best and low selling lines. The JH will also create and execute annual store refurbishment plans.
KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work with AF store design team and AF leasing team to finalise the site. Plan with the sales team the new stores layout keeping in mind local needs, tastes and preferences. Also work with Product to select the best Appliances for the kitchens. Manage the design process with brand principal to ensure that brand guidelines are maintained.
- Constantly monitor top and low sellers to take learnings for new stores and suggest changes in existing stores.
- Analyse the current and upcoming trends in kitchens and wardrobes.
- Close interaction with Brand Principals to develop the new stores, review store layouts and develop new store formats for new markets where needed.
PERSON SPECIFIC:
Education: Degree/ Diploma in Interior planning, architecture, interior design
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- Relevant experience in Interior/ commercial store design
- Minimum 5 years experience as commercial designer/ interior design manager.
