About the Job:
Pricing Analyst will be responsible for supporting a variety of critical areas related to pricing. This role will support the pricing department with data management, system automation, analysis and reporting. This position will require an interaction and collaboration with many other stakeholders (sales, operations, procurement etc.) in the interest of achieving the overall objectives related to pricing function.
Description of the Tasks :
- Preparation and maintenance of pricing models
Preparation and maintenance of pricing models for Leasing (B2B and B2C), Rental and Subscription business
- Preparation of automated Lease rate calculators for different channels
These calculators are to be used by showroom sales personnel while quoting the lease rates to the customers
- Circulation of pricing rate List to all the key stakeholders
Share standardized pricing rate list to all the key stakeholders (mainly Sales and operations team) from time to time
- Automation of pricing models in the system
Closely work with relevant stakeholders in terms of automating the pricing tools in the system with less or no reliance on excel workings (system exposure will be mainly Accipiens and CarPro)
- Close co-ordination with EIT on system enhancements with respect to all the pricing functionalities
Vehicle model creation, updating all cost elements in the system (purchase price, residual values, maintenance costs, registration costs etc.)
- Data management, analysis, and reporting
Comparison of price positioning between leasing and rental products, variance analysis of cost components which result in differences in lease rates between various products etc.
The reporting to be further enhanced via building the reports in tableau with the help of business solution team
- Financial review of deal profitability
This includes monitoring of the deal profitability (particularly the tenders that Hertz has won) via close tracking of actual spends vs budgeted spends in a deal.
- Support in Tender pricing process
Close co-ordination with key stakeholders for obtaining costing elements, Tender review and analysis, Margin Controls, Pricing Simulations, prepare presentations for Senior Management for reviewing Deal Summary etc.
About you :
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or degree relevant to BBA, Finance, Mathematics, Economics
- Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
Total experience of 4-5 years with min. 2 years in pricing function. Good knowledge of finance, statistics and financial services. Proficiency is MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good understanding of products and related work processes in area of responsibility.
- Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks :
Detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, adaptive to a team environment, good quantitative skills, ensure data integrity, ability to work with minimal supervision.
