About the Job:
As part of Used Cars transformation project, the primary objective is to move from siloed decisions to a centralized, robust digitized decision-making process. The role is key to support the centralization of Used Cars business. As the Stock Controller, you will be leading a matrix team of stock controllers in the brands and ensure optimisation of used cars time to market. You will be accountable for applying the defined used cars stock rules common for the group and establish a synergy and relationship within the brands to allocate effectively used cars to preparation center and go to market. You will also ensure compliance with stock, logistics and preparation center SLAs.

 

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate group Used Cars stock and apply rules defined for the group. 
  • Leadership of Stock controllers ensuring stock levels within brands are proactively managed.   
  • Track quality of Used Cars stock based on aging and model mix; applying the rules and maintaining policy determining optimal stock
  • Support the development of intelligence allocation tool to optimize stock turn of vehicles at each site and maximise throughput across network - where likely to get best price based on known data - place at right site and sales channel. 
  • Ensure Logistics SLAs are defined and respected at group level; work closely with preparation center to minimize time to market
  • Working with Buying team and preparation center to minimise time to market
  • Develop Used cars stock KPIs to support Management team in taking decisions 

 

About You:  
An ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor’s Degree. You will have at least 5 years’ work experience as a Stock Controller in the automotive industry. You will have good experience on stock management and has the ability to recommend stocks policies and strategies and lead Stock Controllers accross the brands. Experienced in used car industry is an added advantage!
