Overview of the role

 

Planning and controlling shelf with balanced assortment and store space management to maximise sales, inventory turn and profit vs Budget in each location.

 

What you will do

 

  • The job holder generates import purchase orders in the system according to the buyer’s assortment planning Inventory Dashboard
  • Ensures effective allocation to stores based on requirements, store density parameters, fixture fill requirements and stock level plans
  • End of season clearance plan to launch the new season range
  • Clear the discontinued/slow moving stock from the shelves to launch new seasonal range
  • Preparation of Re-order analysis which shows authenticity of the financial allocation for every reorder.
  • Monthly KPI report indicating stock cover
  • Suggest mark downs and promotions for slow movers. Strictly follow first in/First out wherever revamped product available in new package.
  • Product ranking and aging stock
  • Develop core vendor plans by location.
  • Focus on Top 20 vendors which contributes 80% of the total sale
  • Analyzing the reports on daily/ weekly /monthly and annual basis
  • Supporting the merchandising budget process and providing the required data from the system

What equips you for the role      

 

Education:

  • BBA (Business Management or Buying) - SAP Knowledge is essential.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • 3 plus years in Retail Planning allocating experience (Store based experience essential)
