Overview of the Role:

The role will be responsible creating portfolio on brand designs for campaigns and digital elements. Create graphic communications corporate branding and promotional messaging for B&Q across all stores as well as managing the technical detail of the in-house Print and Production Studio once available. Additionally support content design for the e-commerce websites, platforms, and touchpoints upon launch

What you will do:

Plan and develop comprehensive art and design for monthly Promotional in-store Ads in conjunction with Marketing and VM Manager

Produce graphic content in line with agreed design briefs for site changes/maintenance and new projects, including page layouts, email designs, social media, site graphics, banner ads and flash animations

 

Work with the Content Specialist to analyze effectiveness of content and continually optimize future designs. Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

Test graphics across various media

Amend designs after feedback

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in alignment with the principal

 

Maintaining visual communication standard across all stores

 

Art direction and production at all stages of work including pre-press checklist, print specification, print finishing’s, re-print of artworks and print material distribution to all store branches

 

Monitor installation of all promo materials during launch and to ensure all stores are consistent, uniform and on-time for launchof promotional activity

 

Working closely with the Marketing and Buying Team with all the relevant graphic/printed materials

 

Create visual presentations for Product Branding, Organizational Identity and Corporate Communications (Info-graphics: Reports, Bulletin, Flyer, Catalogue & Newsletter)

 

Corporate and Brand

  • Promote Brand and Corporate Values throughout the team and the ways of working.
  • Ensuring the relationship with Principals and partners is nurtured and established to build sustainable business partnerships.
  • Compliance to Principal standard operating procedures, brand guidelines and relevant policies
  • Regularly and proactively liaise with Principals on graphic design related activities and maintain good relationship

 

What equips you for the role:

 

Education: Qualification in Graphic Design

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

3-5 of working as a Graphic Designer

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

Using up-to-date working knowledge of all Adobe software including Illustrator, Photo Shop etc. and any 3D software relevant to job role, ensuring they are keeping abreast of emerging technologies in Print Media, production, and graphic design
