• This role is a part of the Data Movement product within our Technology and Transformation (TnT) organization, within the Information Technology Division. 
• You will be a part of a team that innovates, participating in all phases of a development process. What you'll do

• Delivers solutions within the Data Movement Product leveraging Managed File Transfer, Message Oriented Middleware and Enterprise Service Bus products.  

• Is part of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports their product.

• Develops and manages API proxies and products using Apigee API Management

• Responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining IBM DataPower Infrastructure

• Develops and maintains Automation tools for IBM DataPower gateway deployments

• Responsible for leading process and toolset implementations, enhancements and integrations, that will enable Continuous Integration/Deployment environments and workflows.

• Applies software engineering industry best practices to Data Movement applications and services. Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development.

• Troubleshoots complex issues; identify and implement solutions.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 3 years related experience
• Experience working in Apigee Edge, Microgateway and Developer Portal
• Demonstrated experience in IBM DataPower Gateway Service Bus, DataPower administrative function and development, MQ Services Application Integration
• Experience in software solution development using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model that includes developing and implementing applications
• Infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions, TDD, Automated regression testing)
• Experience implementing Enterprise security using BasicAuth, oAuth, 2-way SSL and certificates 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• Large scale application deployment experience, as well as extensive build and release engineering experience and proven ability to develop automated deployment solutions

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to learn new technology and programming languages
• Understanding of end to end application development lifecycle from code commit to production deployment
• Have a Ops and Security mindsets - understand production controls and change processes
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and in written form
• Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning modern technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
• Well versed in SOA and RESTful services and consuming the services
• Strong understanding of configuring various security policies for the API’s
• Strong knowledge of creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipeline processes
• Working knowledge of common networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP, IP, SSH, FTP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP), load balancer, firewall, storage
