  • ​This job is a member of the Supply Chain Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • Responsible for providing advanced analytical support to the Aircraft Programs Procurement team. This job also provides financial analysis to support Commodity Managers involved in complex commercial negotiations of multi-million dollar contracts.

What you'll do

  • Develops complex Excel/Database models supporting the financial analysis of RFPs and supplier negotiations, including NPV analysis
  • Performs analysis, such as evaluating and forecasting cost components of contract proposals, reviewing pricing structures, identifying and quantifying financial exposure, and quantifying the impact of foreign currency / taxes/ inventory ownership
  • Develops and maintains the following reports:
    • Aircraft Programs BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) forecast and tracking tool for each major aircraft program (e.g., 777-200 retrofit)
    • Aircraft Programs supplier credit log
    • Annual spend forecast by vendor to support capital and operating budget creation
    • Vendor spend for prior years (as needed)
    • Bi-Annual Contract Audit
  • Acts as primary liaison for Aircraft Programs team with Tech Ops Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Accounts Payable
  • Evaluates Financial Statements and associated financial health of suppliers
  • Evaluates the impact of industry M&A on procurement initiatives and operations
  • Prepares presentations, communicating analysis to a broad range of management levels
  • ​In addition, the Analyst performs supplier financial health assessments, analyzes relevant industry M&A activity, conducts audits of contracts and group processes, and provides training support to Commodity Mangers. The Analyst works closely with Procurement Managers and Commodity Managers to understand their needs and produce various processes and analytical tools to facilitate their work with suppliers and overall decision making

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business  
  • 5 years experience in related fields

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Advanced Excel skills required, experience with SAP and SQL
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in a stressful situation
  • Ability to manage multiple project

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Aptitude for problem solving and strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop creative solutions to business and operational challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple and diverse projects with changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance individuals
  • Capable of creating and running training for the group on financial and other relevant subjects
