About The Job

This job is a member of the Payroll Operations Team within the Finance Division. This position will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of employee garnishments.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Provides administrative support to garnishment processing team
  • Processes garnishment orders
  • Consistently applies company policy and government regulations to all processing
  • Researches employee questions and provides resolution, as dictated by company policy
  • Organizes and maintains records to enable special processing that reduces the occurrences of incorrect payroll payments
  • Assists in special projects and testing of new processing systems
  • Communicates all discrepancies to payroll supervisor or department timekeeper as necessary in specialized processing and assigned projects, requiring more detailed knowledge of payroll procedures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working in a high-volume, multi-state payroll department
  • Familiarity with garnishment processing
  • Use of analytical skills to identify and address potential issues
  • Ability to explain and interpret complex garnishment information to employees
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • SAP experience
