Job Description:

Post Sales:

• Shaping and/or supporting the delivery of data center build, consolidation and migration projects from initial assessment and high level design through to effective delivery.
• Driving business Continuity programs with customer.
• Driving data center technology strategy and developing transition roadmaps and implementation approaches.
• Driving and reviewing data center facilities and technology diagnosis and assessment activities.
• Driving technology architecture, infrastructure detailed design, build and test activities.
• Driving and delivering application migration assessment, planning and execution activities
• Developing presentation material and delivering workshops to senior IT stakeholders.
• Deliver remote and/or onsite Data Discovery, Application, Infrastructure validation data and analysis services such as developing bundling criteria, performing migration options analysis, Risk analysis, and vendor participation analysis.
• Develop various project deliverables (BIA, establish RPO and RTO, review existing BC/DR plans, Design, Runbooks, assessment reports, workshops, migration plans, etc. as needed for each assigned customer engagement).
• Develops, manages and articulates Disaster Recovery/High Availability (DR/HA) solutions based on a client’s strategic business and technical requirements.
• Act as a Technical Leader on larger projects, coordinating the work of a larger delivery team owning overall responsibility for Data Center migration and consolidation.
• Documentation of technical best practices for the reuse in other customer engagements, and contribution to the development of standard consulting service offerings.
• Provide technical mentoring for new and/or junior colleagues as needed.
• Acquire and maintain expert level knowledge in two or more areas such as Cloud, hyper-converged, Business resiliency, operation model.

Pre-sales assistance as needed:

• Assist Solutions Architects in creating Statements of Work as a BC/DR SME as needed.
• Lead “As-is / To-be” consulting workshops with customers to support strategic opportunities as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and other technical domain SMEs on our most strategic pursuits to generate proposals and/or SOWs
• Identifying business opportunities for using Cyber recovery solutions, DC/DR, virtualization, private cloud or public cloud for technology-related improvements using benchmark data and supporting high-level cost benefits analyses.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Relevant Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in the design, engineering, and architecture of large-scale Data Center infrastructures.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Enterprise management (Oil and gas, Telco, Banking), Deployment, Systems Integration, or consulting role.
• Expertise with Data Center Strategy, Migration and Consolidation methodologies.
• Strong technical, organizational and leadership skills for DR/HA technologies
• Knowledge/Expertise of Database and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with one or more of the following operating systems (VMware, Solaris, AIX and Linux).
