About The Job

The Specialist, Business Technology will serve as a liaison between Business Technology and TEQ. Business Technology is looking for a creative person to develop creative out of the box solutions on SharePoint. The Analyst will play an instrumental role in creating training, developing and supporting the applications rolled out by the Business Technology Team. This individual will serve as the resident SharePoint expert for TEQ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint and the ability to construct complex workflows. They will help TEQ users migrate from a SharePoint on-prem solution to a cloud based solution.

This role is located at our Technical Operations Center (TOC) facility, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:​

  • Work with TEQ Stakeholders to understand customer processes in order to document, design and develop applications using K2 and SharePoint
  • Create user friendly solutions on SharePoint
  • Track and manage analytics for both the K2 and SharePoint platforms
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with our TEQ customers
  • Develop forms, applications, and workflows for SharePoint sites within TEQ
  • Creates and delivers Training for TEQ employees in the areas of SharePoint and K2
  • Manage SharePoint administration for TEQ
  • Facilitate User Groups for SharePoint and other TEQ applications
  • Maintain the TEQ SharePoint Homepage
  • Complete other assignments and projects as directed by Manager
  • Lead or participate in demonstrations to present solution capabilities to stakeholders

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology Management.
  • Prefer (3) years SharePoint administrative or development experience
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, SharePoint designer and Bootstrap desired
  • Experienced in creating responsive web designs desired
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi task
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Must possess the ability to properly prioritize workload, delegate tasks, and work in a stressful environment
  • Aviation maintenance experience/knowledge desired
  • Some Travel is required for this position

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​​​Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, LSS, TFS tools and methodologies
  • Experienced in creating responsive web designs (css media queries)
  • At least 3 years of experience in Sharepoint administrative and development duties
  • Relevant technical certification (Microsoft, .NET, Sharepoint, K2, other) subset of HTML, Python, javascript, CSS, SQL, webservices REST, lotus script, SGML/XML, DTDs, XSLT, XSL-FO, Omnimark
