Aftermarket Sales Engineer - Volvo Trucks - Al Futtaim FAMCO - Al Ain

 

The main purpose of this role will be to sell all aftermarket products represented by the Volvo Truck & Bus Division. The position will spend 80% of the time in the field and requires daily contacts with customers. This role will be permanently based in Al Ain area

 

Description of the Accountability

- Direct- Sales of spare parts, workshop services and other Aftermarket products.

- Maintains an active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date when required for analysis or campaigns

- Conducts regular customer with occasional visits to assess business requirements and maintain healthy relationships to ensure top customer satisfaction levels 

- Achieve/Exceed monthly/annual sales target while maximizing the profitability by focusing on both the net sales and gross margin earnings.

- Submission of daily call reports indicating the daily visits made to existing customers and new customers

- To ensure that Monthly over dues are not more than agreed target

- To coordinate the delivery of the parts ordered by the customers and ensure 360 degree follow up

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

• High School Certificate/ Diploma 
• Relevant diploma / industry qualification will be of added advantage

 

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years automotive experience in aftermarket / aftersales / service of commercial vehicles specifically Trucks / Buses, ideally field sales experience (preferably with Commercial Vehicle Trade Customers

 

Job-Specific Skills:

• Good communicator in English; Arabic an advantage
• UAE’s valid Driver’s License
• Relationship management skills

• Strong negotiations skills
