Systems Engineer – Unix at ITWORX

Location: Nasr City

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or any related discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience Engineer in installing, configuring & administrating Linux/Unix Server is a must.
• Experience Engineer in OpenStack, Virtualization, OpenShift, Docker and Containers.
• Good knowledge of architecture design, infrastructure migration, and deployment strategies for AWS Cloud.
• Very good English language skills (Speaking & Writing)
• RHCA, and RHCE is preferred.

Job Description:
•The job holder is responsible for Linux servers and applications environments running on top of them (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu). Designing, implementing and troubleshooting a dynamic environment while mitigating risk. S/he is also responsible for monitoring system activity and diagnose and resolve complex performance issues and outages, analyzing system capacity and designing system growth paths, maintaining patch and firmware levels, and performing benchmark testing of new equipment for production and test environments.
