Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary Alaska is looking for a Contract Recruiter to find the best talent for our airlines who deliver remarkable experiences to our guests. This is the perfect position for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment, loves travel, and enjoys cultivating top notch candidate and hiring manager relationships and experiences. This contract is for 18 months and does not include benefits. Scope & Complexity This individual contributor position completes events based sourcing and recruiting activities for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. In support of a single line of business, this role identifies and attracts top talent to fill open positions and help create a vibrant talent pipeline. Key Duties - Manages any of the following parts of the recruiting cycle; sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing; most often for a single line of business. - Conducts light sourcing through various channels; Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), other channels. - Works in collaboration with other recruiters to fulfill a pipeline or hiring goal. - May share responsibility to screen applications, resumes, conduct phone screens and interviews. - Assesses talent and presents only the top slate of talent to hiring team. - Proactively engages with a pipeline of prospective candidates in a CRM through email campaigns and invitations. - Meets goals and deadlines within the hiring process. - Continually adapts to new technology that improves recruiting efficiency and candidate / hiring manager experience. - Upholds the brand and experience standards for candidates and hiring managers. Job-Specific Skills & Education Required - A minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resources or other related field to include at least 1 year in a Recruiting or equivalent function. - Technology savvy with a high level of proficiency with recruiting software; ATS, CRM, event management and other screening / scheduling automation software. - Ability to be collaborative with recruiting staff and accountable to shared goals. - Exceptional candidate and hiring manager service skills. - Moderate travel may be required. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum age of 18. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred - A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. - Sourcing skills; CRM engagement, email campaigns, and talent community maintenance. - Event recruiting and/or high volume recruiting experience.
