Job Description:

  • The Process & Compliance Manager (P&C Manager) will support in leading Al Futtaim Automotive in its process and compliance strategies to ensure continuous improvement and to mitigate risk whilst improving internal control and efficiencies.
  • The P&C Manager will lead cross functional teams to assess processes and information streams using internationally recognized Quality Systems, Records and Information Management while owning the development of quality control, ensuring that business process models clearly articulate and support companies' objectives and value propositions.
  • The P&C Manager will support Process and Compliance Department in conjunction with Automotive Finance Shared Services (AFSS) and business operations in formulating and implementing internal control check points. He/she will assist in installing accurate metrics to indicate performance and recommend in taking corrective actions whenever necessary.
  • The P&C Manager will assist the Head of Process and Compliance in defining the project objectives, scope, organization, timelines and overall approach of spearheading Al Futtaim Automotive’s goal of achieving successful implementation of various strategic initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves collaboration with Al Futtaim Automotive Management and other stakeholders to:

  • Manage the investigational analysis and evaluation to determine project or application feasibility.
  • Review findings with operational heads and create action plans with the goal of increasing accuracy and optimizing system resources.
  • Define, analyses and measure information to develop specific plans for improvements and controls of operational processes using business cases.
  • Design and implement advanced metrics and reporting, as agreed with operational heads, spreadsheet models and ad-hoc queries.
  • Explore and expand the use of technology to drive quality and record processes.
  • Define project objectives, scope, organization, timelines and overall approach including implementation and integration alternatives.
  • Lead workshop sessions to address the business process requirements, ensure follow up and resolve issues arising from workshop session.
  • Lead documentation of "As-Is" business processes and the development of "To-Be" processes and recommend policies/ SOP’s through GAP analysis
  • Lead in Performance Management, and accurately assess the risks associated with each quality process
  • Identify and promote opportunities for enhancements in efficiencies that will further the organization's objectives.
  • Identify control weaknesses and recommend action plans.
  • Design and implement internal controls that will mitigate risk and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Document the agreed process and monitor the approval, communication, training and compliance.
  • Lead in translating the business process to a functional document in capturing the requirement for system integration.

 

  • Understand current business process and identify business requirements via GAP analysis
  • Analyze data and reports to provide recommendation for corrective actions
  • Work independently with subject matter experts within the organization to define concepts and take ownership for the direction of process owners
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
  • Drive to eliminate the silos between operations, technology and support teams in any initiatives
  • Be able to work with cross functional organization to build a sense of shared ownership and minimizes potential resistance
  • Successfully engage in multiple projects simultaneously

 

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

 

  • Candidate must be a member of a professional body of accountants such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc., with a minimum of 8 to 10 years post qualification work experience.
  • Minimum Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience with current systems analysis principles, method, procedures, practices, tools and techniques.
  • A proven ability to communicate effectively with variety of levels of knowledge, skills and responsibilities.
  • Extensive application of project management principles in managing projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to articulate process and systems integrations applying best business practices.
  • Vast working knowledge on various automotive processes (e.g. Sales, After sales, Supply Chain, Leasing, etc.)
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years working experience in the automotive industry

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of automotive sales processes
  • Excellent understanding of SAP IS Auto system and preferably Ariba P2P
  • Work experience in SAP GRC and SAP BI is an added advantage
  • A thorough understanding of an ERP application and its integration to finance along the entire supply chain
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Visio
  • Strong analytical skills
