This job is a member of the Cargo Ops Performance and Policy Team within the Customer Experience Division. This position will be responsible for the measurement and reporting of Cargo Operations performance. Additionally, acts as a Product Owner who is responsible for specialty products.
Specifically, you'll do the following:
- Works on numerous projects related to improving operations and meeting cargo product service levels
- Develops and maintains the policies and procedures related to operations and interacts with government agencies for safety, security and the transportation of dangerous goods
- Works regularly with all departments within cargo operations, supporting them with critical analysis, performance reporting and insights into business opportunities
- Owns key strategic projects and deliverables that drive performance of Cargo, including eAWB, End-2-End transformation and short and mid-range planning
- May be required to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
- 2 -3 years of business experience in an analytical, research, finance or consulting role, with a demonstrated record of success
- Strong business/financial analysis abilities and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize and navigate complex projects among competing priorities, both within and outside the organization
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across and outside the organization at all levels
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively, meet deadlines and shift priorities appropriately in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with great attention to detail
