Job Title:             Head of Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Reports to:         MD Trading Enterprises

Direct Reports: 5 (including 2 Matrix)

 

 

Job Description:

  • The role is responsible to ensure the team deliver on budgeted net sales, gross margin, net profit and CSI for Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in UAE whilst developing and executing the brand and product strategy for growth in the UAE.
  • They will have focus on the entire customer journey enabling the different functions to deliver a first-class customer experience, and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Revenue & Profit: Achieve the budgeted target on Vehicle Net Sales, Service Revenue, Gross Margins and Net profit by maximising the Channel Management/Revenue and optimising key business KPI’s
  2. Strategic development: Strategic development of the brand delivering the vision for the future that provides sustainable growth.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Establish the best interest of principal and owner by regular and proactive contact with senior representatives.  Also seek through close relationships a “favoured franchise” status to the benefit of shareholders.
  4. Value Chain Optimization: Promote innovation & collaboration with AF Group divisions (Sales, Service, F&I, Used Car, Engagement Centre…etc..) to enhance customer experience and optimize Value Chain of Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Sales, and leverage Group investments in technology to drive efficient sales.
  5. A/R and Stock Provision Management: Responsible for A/R and Stock Provision Management, requiring close coordination with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Brand Operations for Marketing & Customer Relationship management.
  6. Maintain Principle Standards: Work with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram teams, Principal, and AF Group teams, to deliver a first-class customer experience through rigorous focus on the customer journey, business processes, technology and continuous improvement.
  7. Culture Change: Create a culture of the Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram way of working throughout the organization embedding Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram business practices as a way of doing business whilst also leveraging the Al-Futtaim and Trading Enterprises cultural strengths
  8. Talent Development: Drive a Talent Development system in Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram that creates professionals recruited correctly and future orientated, developed by education, coaching and performance management, and engaged through succession planning and a sense of purpose and meaning for developing the brand. 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Knowledge of public relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources. Strong understanding of market segmentation and product marketing.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Masters Degree or ten years of experience in leadership roles for large divisions or companies.
  • Ideally has GCC experience and has worked for some time in an Automotive OEM.
  • Ideally has experience working with a mass market automotive brand.
  • Minimum Experience: 
  • This position requires business maturity, excellent judgment and a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit.  Successful candidates generally have 15 - 20 years of professional and industry experience with minimum 5 years proven success in a senior management role.
