About The Job

The IBM Notes/Domino Team is responsible for hosting and supporting a variety of applications on the IBM Notes/Domino Platform at American Airlines. 

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

• Investigating, designing, implementing, and maintaining improvements to existing IBM Notes/Domino databases and applications
• Converting existing applications to be web enabled applications
• Working with project managers, business analysts, and end users to define requirements
• Documenting systems analysis and estimates of development and enhancement efforts so they can be communicated to the project team and other staff
• Defining and following industry best practices
• Responsible for supporting complex systems and applications in Test, Development, Stage and Production environments
• Accept escalation of technical problems from other teams
• Identify and implement improvements to the process, procedures, documentation, applications, and systems
• Other duties and project related work as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the analysis, design, planning, and migration of enterprise level applications and databases
• 5+ years of IBM Notes/Domino programming experience including:
  •  Formula Language
  • LotusScript
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/XML
  • CSS
  • XPages
• Proven track record in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
• Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in IBM Notes/Domino Application Development and/or System Admin is a plus
• Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, DOJO, Angular, React, VueJS)
