About the Role

 

This role will be accountable for driving digital transformation to enable superior customer engagement across all channels for all Al Futtaim Retail businesses.

  • Having a deep understanding of the needs of the consumer across all brands
  • Leading the development of the digital business strategy and road map aligned to the strategic business plan
  • Ensuring that the business is developing digital assets and capabilities for the midterm and long term
  • Identifying opportunities and making recommendations on critical business capabilities required for enhancing omnichannel customer experience
  • Being a single point of contact and executive oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects
  • Collaborating with business leaders to help determine priorities
  • Serving as a trusted partner and influencing the creation of innovative products/services
  • Overseeing the end-to-end process, ongoing engagement and ultimate delivery of technology solutions
  • Partnering and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions from concept through launch
  • Acting as an escalation point and advocate for the customer at all times
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels across all key stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong relationships with appropriate technology partners (internal and external)
  • Leading a team of technologists engaged in customer experience and integration solutions
  • Acting as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain enterprise digital capabilities

 

About the Responsibility

 

  • Map customer journey across key Al Futtaim Retail brands to understand customer experience
  • Create a digital business strategy and roadmap highlighting business capabilities to be built in the medium to long term
  • Form an executive committee of key business stakeholders to agree on digital initiatives to be undertaken by the team and meet periodically to prioritize on the same and report progress
  • Identify and manage in store digital initiatives that would enhance customer experience
  • Provide executive oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects through a strong PMO team
  • Manage relationships with third party digital delivery partners, focusing on performance management against agreed SLA's and KPI's
  • Be accountable for the effective resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements
  • Build trusted partner relationships and represent Al Futtaim Retail in external forums to stay aware of digital technology trends and successful implementations globally
  • Ensure best practices and processes across the digital team for the consistent delivery of digital projects
  • Define and build a strong team to meet long-term organizational needs for a successful digital transformation
