About the Job:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Demand & Supply Manager for Al-Futtaim Lexus in Dubai. This new role will provide focus on network strategy and the control will be within Lexus brand which will ensure all stays in line with standards and guidelines set by Lexus international and Toyota Motor Corporation. This role will continue to work on demand and supply chain management for all Lexus vehicles, ordering and stock management and maintain total stock according to finance methodologies and controls

 

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Demand and Supply Chain Management:

  • Supply chain management in line with sales planning and financial objective
  • Timely submission of new vehicle order, various TMC reports and coordination with brand operations department members to collect relevant information.
  • Develop and propose Order plan and Engine ratio plan to decide on production volume by Model/Channel/Grade/Colour to achieve agreed sales plans
  • Prepare, analyse for optimum Negotiation with TMC on optimum supply of Model by continuously reviewing with channels and management to achieve required Month of Stocks Ratio
  • Prepare and Forecast accurate trend through analysing past trends by Color/Grade/Channels to maintain optimum supply across the range and grades
  • Prepare analysis for logical rationalization of the line-up through number of materials reductions in order to increase efficiency and reduce cost of maintenance

 

Project Development and Management:

  • Work with Project Managers and consultant (after appointment of consultant) on the Concept, Schematic and Detailed Design phases with stakeholder approval at each stage in order to design.
  • Support the development of the Network Strategy plan with inputs from the Network on what is required to achieve the group objectives
  • Planning & Execution - Define and agree project objectives with key stakeholders/Project Sponsor then communicate with the project team to establish this vision of what will constitute successful accomplishment of the project objective.
  • Develop Project Management Plan and facilitate work defined to satisfy the project objectives.
  • Track, review and regulate progress and performance of the project; identify any areas in which changes to the plan are required; and initiate the corresponding changes.
  • Finalise all activities to formally complete the project.  Verify that the defined processes are completed to close the project.  Obtain acceptance by the customer/sponsor.  Ensure quality and delivery of project on time and in budget.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent. You will have around 5 years’ experience in automotive, including minimum of 2 years in distributor and brand operations role.  You will have an excellent sales planning ability to plan budget and forecast accurate market. You should be able to multi task and manage deadlines.

 

Alternatively, technical skills, customer service skills, technical report write up, good communication skills written and verbal, analytical, computer literacy, presentation skills and strong problem solving skills are required to successfully fulfill this role.
