About The Job
Troubleshoot/Repair aircraft systems and subsystems according to the manufacturers wiring diagram, Aircraft maintenance Manuals and Engineering Specifications. Otherwise, as outlined in the Technical Services Manual.
The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the International Association of Mechanics (IAM) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Qualifications
- Valid general radio telephone operator’s license, AND eighteen (18) months mechanical experience in the repair and maintenance of aircraft avionics systems
OR
Valid AP License, AND valid general radio telephone operator’s license
OR
In lieu of an AP license, have the experience necessary to obtain a repairman’s certificate and valid general radio telephone operator’s license
- At least 1 year documented experience in heavy commercial jet transport aircraft
- Ability to trouble-shoot and repair aircraft systems/subsystems
- Must have own tools
- FAA drug test is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Read and Write the English language
- Ability to perform shift work
