Technology, Digital – Senior Consultant at PwC – UAE 

Job Description:

  • Work under the supervision of Senior Managers and Managers within the Technology Consulting practice.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Work with colleagues across all Middle East offices on client engagements and internal initiatives as well as with international teams.
  • Develop sections of deliverables as instructed by managers and ensure adherence to scope and completion of work. Scope of work will be around business, digital, technology and innovation projects for the government sector in the MENA region.
  • Conduct research as instructed by managers on emerging technologies.
  • Support managers in coordinating presentations to clients.
  • Communicate effectively (both verbal and in writing).
  • Support managers in development of technical proposals to clients.
  • Whilst working in the Technology team, further build on your understanding of the key themes in the market and in the region.
  • Work collaboratively with other Technology experts to learn what will shape the future of our clients and to bring about positive change.
  • You will have access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network.

Job Requirements:

         Education:

  •  B.A/B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a technology discipline or related field.

    Relevant Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in domains of competency and sub-competency mentioned above.

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:            

  • Achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis.
  • Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise your workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Interest in growing understanding in one or more of the emerging digital technologies and trends; Big Data, AI and Blockchain is a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a structured thinking process.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research.
  • Proven IT skills in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications.
  • Language Skills: Arabic is a requirement for this role. Please ensure you select it as a spoken language on the application form, otherwise your application will be disqualified. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English is also required.
  • The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East.
