- This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division.
- Responsible for leading a team of Cybersecurity professionals focused on key areas specifically InfoSec Policy and Standard development, Consulting, Education, and Awareness.
- Leads a team of Cybersecurity Professionals, providing leadership and coaching, facilitating performance reviews, and ensuring prioritization of work
- Contributes to our positive, team-oriented culture by developing and maintaining cooperative relationships, facilitating the resolution of conflicts, and accepting and providing constructive feedback
- Evolves and redefines the Cybersecurity Governance processes across the organization, including managing the Cybersecurity Policy and Standards framework
- Actively works with the Privacy team and other parts of the organization to research and develop policy and standard enhancements, as well as facilitate the Cybersecurity policy management process
- Collaborates and supports the development of systems and tools to manage policy/standards, cyber consultations, etc.
- Prepares and presents regular reports as required, including the management of all meaningful statistics relating to Cybersecurity Governance processes and performance metrics
- Leads the planning and implementation of Cybersecurity awareness and training for multiple layers of management across the company
- Oversees the Cybersecurity consulting approach
- Actively supports any regulatory audit or security review in regards to Cybersecurity governance, policy, and addresses findings in a timely manner
- Supports Vendor Management and other groups during contract negotiation processes, in order to ensure that relevant Cybersecurity issues are addressed
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5 years of experience leading a Cybersecurity team or equivalent
- 3 years of Cybersecurity Policy and Standard creation and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of Cybersecurity Policy and Standard creation and maintenance
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Experience with development of security requirements to protect the company from external and internal threats
- Deep understanding of Cybersecurity control frameworks, including NIST CSF, 800-171, 800-53, ISO 27001, and COBIT frameworks
- Proven ability to build, cultivate, and promote strong relationships with internal customers at all levels of the organization, as well as with IT counterparts, business partners, and external groups
- Experience presenting key, sensitive information to Senior Leadership
- Experience working with Agile project management methodologies and tools
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and demands efficiently
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices
- Ability to think strategically and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
- Ability to effectively explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience
- Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
