Taking on each day knowing we're part of something remarkable. **YOUR ROLE** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Support day of operation within SOC by proactively and aggressively monitoring crew impact issues to the operation -Providing information to SOC decision-makers, especially during irregular operations, and supervising crew-scheduling shifts as directed -Ensure all flights depart on time with the proper crew complement -Formulates potential crew recovery plans for operational irregularities taking into account such factors as FAR compliance, company policy and procedures, weather, airport conditions, mechanical problems, crew availability and SOC decision-maker plans -Monitor real-time operation activity, including deadheads, crew connects and crew staffing to prevent crew cancellations and/or minimize crew delays -Reassign/reschedule non-routine crews including what-if scenarios -Notify crews of equipment substitutions, cancellations and/or delays -Provide crew APIS updates -When in a supervisory role as required on shift the SOC Crew Controller will provide support to crew schedulers as a lead resource in ensuring compliance to FARs, CBAs, TSA and department procedures -Provide oversight of crew scheduling personnel on duty as directed including staffing, scheduling and other operational issues -Lead crew scheduling related issues related to the SOC during irregular operations, SWAP, or other high workload periods -Be a resource for reporting on crew-related issues, irregularities, statistics and metrics -Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - College course work, preferred - Three years airline operation experience required - Airline crew scheduling or crew planning experience required - Working knowledge of crew management preferred - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, required - Possess excellent organizations skills - Possess excellent oral/written skills - Ability to work in a stressful environment - High School diploma or equivalent required - Minimum age of 18 - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 1/20/2020 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
