The Data Networking / WiFi / Network Security Engineer will be responsible to achieve prompt maintenance services and completion of projects within the planned time and cost. Coordinate with customers and managed services manager to design service delivery through NOC and field services. Implement the solution as specified. After sales support maintenance as per SLA signed with customers.

• Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of the data network infrastructure in co-ordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.
• Lead the project to deliver data networking and WiFi solutions at customer site.
• Ensure the committed time lines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost and quality.
• Ensure all project deliverables are tracked and communicated as per stakeholders requirements.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining enterprise level network hardware and applications.
• Providing post-sales support to customers.
• Troubleshoot and provide solution in a timely manner for complex multi-vendor network.
• Provide support for project implementation & documentation.
• Training to customers on system usage.
• Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction with the 24x7 Support. 

 This position operates within the context of Data Networking, WiFi and Network Security. The Cisco / HP / Alcatel – Lucent trained and certified engineer will work within a team of engineers to analyse, design, build, test and deploy the networking solution. 

The Data Networking / WiFi / Network Security Engineer will report to the Head of Service Delivery, however, channels exists for direct communication with the General Manager - Digital Transformation & other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. 

To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in Electronics / Telecom / Information Technology / Computer Science. Various certifications in Data and WiFi from Cisco / HP / Alcatel - Lucent is an asset. Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in post sales of Data Networking / WiFi / Network Security.

Good knowledge in converge Network, Wireless, Security, Routers, Switches, Firewall & Network Management Software. (Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, HP experience). Expert in two or more of the following - Wireless / Security / Routing / Switching. Full network lifecycle experience including gathering requirements, design, test, documentation, configuration and maintenance. Additional experience in Server Storage is an asset.
The ideal candidate will have to exhibit exceptional communication skills with capability to generate trust with the customer with sheer domain and solution knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skill, negotiation, presentation and business acumen. Excellent techno-functional skills. Previous experience & ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds, think analytically. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Professional, self-motivated individual.

The Data Networking / WiFi / Network Security Engineer will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
