ROLE PURPOSE:
Building Statistical modelling and Data mining solutions to understand customer insight, Consumer behaviours, process benchmarking optimization, cost optimization and operation excellency.
KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Leverage data mining to understand customer insight, customer segmentation, driving personalization ,relevancy of products and offer, consumer profiles, process optimization, cost optimization and customer acquisition/retention/churn in Omni Channel environment.
Build, validate, and deploy data science models to predict and influence the behaviour of consumers with the goal of optimizing products & services.
Understand opportunities and challenges of internal business teams, and Drive data-driven business decisions by providing actionable insight and analysis.
Explore business issues/opportunities, uncover insights and/or identify targeted areas of operational efficiency and build business models to guide decision-making.
Design business intelligence reports, visualization and performance measurement dashboards for senior management.
Daily/Weekly/monthly performance analysis to monitor the performance of business, to locate risk and to discover potential business opportunities; also providing conclusions and advice based on data analysis.
Managing team of category Analyst and Data scientist for analysing business and customer insights to improve the customer satisfaction, retention and sales
PERSON SPECIFIC:
Education: Degree required OR three years or more of analyst experience
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Demand & Supply planning process
- Previous experience of working on project based role in planning & supply chain.
- Experience with using ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Panning tools with statistical modeling
Job-Specific Skills:
- Advance system proficiency, SAP & JDA experience in additional advantage
- Proven analytical skills.
- Experience with planning software/tools and merchandise management systems is preferred
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions
- Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
