Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for servicing aircraft while on the ground, involving the loading, unloading, packing, and securing of cargo and equipment in aircraft - Picking up and delivery of cargo, including mail, express, baggage, company material, and may include clerical functions such as preparation of airway bills, sales, tickets, reservations, weight and balance manifests, as required by Alaska Airlines procedures and load plans - Required to load, unload and transfer baggage and cargo from aircraft and carts or conveyor belts in terminal or on ramp area of runway - Operate ground service equipment to position next to aircraft or transport baggage or mail to aircraft or terminal or airport mail facility - Perform conversion of aircraft to and from freighter to passenger service - Spot, block and wave off aircraft - Perform routine maintenance and clerical tasks associated with performance of duties - Other duties as assigned - Embody the Alaska Spirit and conducts oneself with Professionalism, Integrity, Resourcefulness, and Caring QUALIFICATIONS - Must be at least 18 years old - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - Valid driver's license - Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred - Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others - Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays required - Able to lift up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis required - Able to adapt to performing work according to set procedures - Able to anticipate needs of others in a fast paced environment - Able to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two hours at one time - Able to learn quickly and understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information - Must have good attendance and punctuality record - High school diploma or equivalent required **PAY** This position pays $24.50 per hour per union agreement - Medical, dental and vision benefits - 401k retirement plan - Monthly and Annual performance bonuses - Flight benefits on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 02/17/2020 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
