Scope & Complexity We want to talk to undergraduate students in their junior year who have accomplished outstanding academic results. The program is designed for a commitment of 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week program. When not working, we invite our interns to take advantage of unlimited complimentary space-available travel on Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air... Lunch in San Diego? Weekend in Portland? Maui? Phoenix... Done! Key Duties - Work with the Director of Line MX and Planning and perform task as listed above. - Travel will be required between MX bases - Would like intern as long as the program will allow us this summer - Will work with re-write of the GPM as it relates to Station Operations - Develop training schedule to be used for all new mechanics that onboard and a path for training going forward - Work with AS training to develop a course and direction that will be used by training and all 6 line stations and the PDX base operations - Make sure we work with flight training to come up with scheduled for use of the VPT's - SOP for training and development of techs to ensure path Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required - Internships positions are open to current undergraduate students in their junior year who are enrolled in a full time course of study graduating between December '20 and June '21. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum age of 18. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Job-Specific Leadership Expectations Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance, and be remarkable. **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 02/17/2020 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
