Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Manager, Line Maintenance provides guidance for daily and long range Line Maintenance operational requirements and ensures compliance with all governing Federal, local, and AS regulations affecting operations at assigned station and outstations. Key Duties - Provides guidance for daily and long range Line Maintenance operational requirements and ensures compliance with all governing Federal, local, and AS regulations affecting operations at assigned station and outstations. - Provides technical direction and assumes technical responsibility for maintenance work accomplished by mechanics or by outside agencies/vendors. - Forecasts and budgets operational needs and personnel requirements. - Evaluates processes, procedures, and equipment changes. - Creates clear channels of communication to ensure all staff is well informed about departmental and company issues and decisions. - Provides leadership and direction to ensure high standards of performance are maintained in the areas of safety, cost, quality, and labor relations. - Establishes and implements policies and procedures to ensure continued improvement. - Determines work priorities and ensures timely accomplishment of all maintenance functions. - Reviews and evaluates employee performance. - Provides a safe work environment and ensures safety rules and regulations are enforced and develops safety awareness in all assigned personnel. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job-Specific Skills & Education - Required - A minimum of 6 years of line maintenance experience. - A minimum of 4 years of Jet Aircraft/Boeing 737/Airbus or larger maintenance experience. - A minimum of 4 years of management experience supervising. - Airframe and Powerplant license. - Extensive experience in budgeting, aircraft reliability, and production. - Strong track record effectively managing teams and experience developing and mentoring employees through engagement. - Ability to frequently travel inter-island, as needed. - Excellent interpersonal and communication (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) skills. - Detail-oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Minimum age of 18. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - Preferred - 10 years of line maintenance experience on jet aircraft. - A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree or technical training.
