About The Role
The role will be accountable for devising and defining the strategy for the Group to attain its Digital Transformation through Artificial Intelligence, technology, talent, governance and processes.
The role is responsible for assisting the Chief Digital Officer with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining digital strategic initiatives. S/he will act as an advisor with the responsibility of ensuring that execution of the strategy supports the elements of the Digital transformation vision. This role focuses on digital strategy implementation by drawing together expertise in the program and project management disciplines and delivering the following as part of the central team.
The role will devise the strategy to achieve digital transformation of the Group from the core and how we do business. S/he will be responsible in building new and innovative business models across business verticals to support the Group’s digital transformation. S/he will devise a strategy to identify new partnerships that will pave way for new product or service opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Devise, communicate and implement the Group’s digital strategy internally and externally so that all employees, partners, suppliers, contractors and other relevant stakeholders understand the Group-wide strategic plan and how it carries out the Group's overall goals
- Drive decision-making that creates medium-term and long-term improvement in the digital space
- Develop business plans and marketing concepts for the Groups digital products
- Develop and oversee AFG's digital strategy execution and the organization's management of web-related and other digital issues (e.g., messaging apps, mobile apps) in developing strategic new media related goals
- Establish and review key strategic priorities and translate them into a comprehensive digital strategic plan
- Ensure that the structure, organization, presentation, and functionality of digital products for web, social media, and mobile are mission-driven, user-centred, and consistent with strategy and intended result.
- Accountable for developing and executing comprehensive digital strategies - in alignment with the enterprise-wide marketing and technology strategies - across all relevant platforms, including managing digital marketing, multimedia content, digital engagement, overall web development and ensuring world class digital experiences for users.
- Translate product and business goals into technical strategy and roadmap
- Oversee the monitoring the execution of the strategic plan
- Translate strategy into actionable and quantitative plans
Advisory and Coaching

- Champion the Group-wide digital strategy
- Deliver technical and consulting expertise in Digital and Technology strategy and Product strategy and innovation
- Ensure departmental/unit strategic planning projects reflect group strategic priorities
- Develop strong and valued relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant
- Partner with leadership, division/department heads, and consultants to support execution of key initiatives.
- Identify and advice on new product or service opportunities that will enhance the Group’s digital strategy
- Identify and recommend new partnerships that are innovative, creative and will support the Group’s digital plans
Project Management

- Lead the overall digital PMO activities with establish methodologies
- Build and maintain PMO best practices and approach and ensure consistency within Group
- Devise and own all digital dashboards, tools, and systems and ensure regular and timely updates through close coordination with digital leads across the business
- Devise and implement the process and tools for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on the overall digital portfolio
- Develop and implement tracking and reporting tools for core digital programs
- Apply standard management methods to help prioritize initiatives and anticipates issues
- Monitor projects/programs progress against plan and flag delays
- Identify and highlight issues that merit further investigation
- Track financial and non-financial impact of initiatives and overall projects
- Advise divisions on optimal mediums and solutions to achieve their strategic and business goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization to promote digital as effectively integrated into various initiatives.
- Ensure the web platform meets the highest standards of branding, editorial and graphic quality, consistency and adheres to best practices involving site architecture, navigation, process flows, page-level interactions, functionalities, usability and accessibility
Team Management

- Manage and support more junior digital strategy consultant and project manager on the team to ensure their growth, and improved output of their work
- Delegate work to achieve maximum efficiency
- Responsible for overall team performance and KPIs
About You
-
- 15+ years’ experience in implementing digital strategy within large organisations or consultancy environments
- 7+ years of professional Project Management and Digital Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA
- Deep understanding of digital strategy and product strategy
- Experience in managing high performing teams within large organisations
- Consultative, creative and innovative leader
