This position will be responsible for leading important marketing projects designed to drive new acquisitions and overall growth for the Citi / AAdvantage co-brand portfolio through digital channels. This involves working with internal departments at American, Citi, as well as with external agency partners.
- Channel owner that develops, executes and analyzes programs from ideation to launch for different assets on digital channels by working closely with Citi and all other internal partners
- Manage all day-to-day relationships with our external agencies to develop creative briefs relevant to new and changing campaigns
- Work daily with Citi partners to ensure aligned strategy and prioritzation around all marketing assets launch into market
- Track and analyze performance data against key success metrics and prepare performance reports for senior leadership
- Develop data-driven business cases to expand and innovate acquisition footprint
- Work closely with digital analytics / strategy team to create A/B tests and other opportunities to test and optimize campaigns
- With your business partners, identify, build support for, and execute digital solutions to increase customer conversion and reduce abandonment rates
- Create and execute marketing collateral based on strategy to clearly explain the value proposition of the credit card to non-AAdvantage / AAdvantage customers
- Coordinate with Citi, marketing, customer insights and loyalty, external agency partners, and legal teams to make sure all deadlines are met
- Be nimble and willing to take on new and additional channels as team dynamics and work load require
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent training/experience
- 3 or more yrs experience in business and/or marketing
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in relationship management
- Self starter with proven capability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, build consensus, and bring ideas to fruition in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- MBA/MS preferred
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing methods and strategies; experience planning, developing and executing co-branded marketing programs
- Experience and familiarization with the latest web trends, techniques, eCommerce and consumer communication platforms
- Understanding of how to utilize data and analytics to drive personalization in digital channels
- Exceptional organization, consensus building and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey thoughts and opinions in a variety of forums including discussions with external partners and interactions with peers and leaders
- Customer focused, highly analytical, thinks creatively and is persuasive with internal and external stakeholders to overcome obstacles
- Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
