  • ​This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
  • Responsible for providing test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes. Also, responsible for planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads.
  • You’ll be focused on providing quality engineering solutions for product teams that help support the vision and future roadmap of the IT organization.  This includes identifying and supporting industry leading tools and technologies, developing frameworks, and helping enable continuous testing strategies. 
What you'll do
  • Collaborates with other Engineers to plan, develop, and enhance overall quality strategy
  • Guide and mentor other Engineers on continuous testing and quality engineering best practices
  • Perform the setup, upgrade, and administration of enterprise quality tools
  • Develop common frameworks and plugins to increase development team’s velocity while ensuring quality
  • Integrate quality tools with cloud and other DevOps tooling
  • Develop and maintain quality success metrics.
  • Provide troubleshooting support by researching symptoms, analyzing impacts, and implementing solutions
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation
  • 3+ years of Object-Oriented programming (Java/.net)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Airline Industry experience, including business systems and technology

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Experience with Cloud platform such as AWS or Azure
  • Hands-on experience with continuous testing strategies
  • Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages
  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Management, including testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurements
  • Experience applying quality engineering practices in DevOps
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience applying automation techniques and tools, such as Selenium, UFT, and SOAPUI
  • Experience applying performance techniques and tools, such as Performance Center and JMeter
  • Experience with different programming languages (Java, C#)
  • Experienced with Windows, UNIX, XML, Web Services, Java, .net and others
  • Using and contributing to open source community and tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Solid judgment and analytical skills; strong follow-up, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively manage change and customer expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
