Job Title:                            Regional Lease Administration Manager

Reports to:                        Director - Retail Leasing

Department:                     Leasing

Location:                            AFGRE Management Office, Dubai Festival City, Dubai UAE

 

JOB PURPOSE

In this position, you are responsible for leading a team that is tasked with servicing leasing documentation across Festival City Malls in UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco and any upcoming malls across the GCC and Middle East region. This role is expected to ensure all administrative formalities are completed in a timely and compliant manner in order to support the Retail Leasing teams in execution of the lease in AFGRE’s overall strategic plan and achievement of performance targets within the agreed timelines and generating EBITDA. Liaising between all Retail departments to ensure effective conclusion of lease documentation. Delivering exceptional experience to internal and external customers

 

You will also ensure that you:

  • effectively lead and direct the work of others;
  • coach and train team members to ensure they are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver the assigned duties;
  • communicate, coordinate and collaborate with all relevant department to ensure timely and efficient conclusion of lease agreements;
  • are familiar with a variety of the leasing field's concepts, practices, and procedures;
  • consistently apply your expertise to identify risks and challenges and proactively come up with a plan to safeguard the interest of the business and tenants; and
  • continuously reflect on ways of doing work and recommend changes to drive business and process efficiency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline

Minimum Experience:  

  • 5 years in Leasing or Lease Administration of which 3 years in a managerial role

Job-Specific Skills:    

  • Knowledge of Leasing market and practices in local market as well as legal norms.

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a regional / cross functional teams
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to work in collaboration

Research, insights & analysis: 

  • Make use of own understanding of the market and intelligence gathering systems to obtain reliable information & data Interpret and analyse information and data to draw logical conclusions and inferences that can support leadership in making informed business decisions

Strategy & planning: 

  • Understand the bigger picture and work with Regional GM Leasing to shape departmental strategy that contributes to AFGRE’s overall business strategy and performance targets
  • Devise a plan for Leasing administration Department and develop performance targets for the team

Leasing programme implementation:

  • Ensure all administrative formalities are completed in a timely and efficient manner in liaison with the Retail Leasing department
  • Build and sustain positive professional relationships through timely correspondence whilst ensuring customer queries, concerns and issues are addressed in a prompt manner

Measuring effectiveness:

  • Establish, promote and use metrics to improve effectiveness
  • Establish a mechanism to track and monitor department and team performance against agreed performance objectives

Managing people:

  • Lead and manage cross functional team of administrators at a regional level across Dubai, Doha and Cairo offices Build on team strengths and take necessary actions to address areas of development
  • Train, coach and mentor team members to ensure they are fully equipped to deliver the assigned tasks effectively for enhance department performance and productivity
